Tadpole Project Toy Repair Session this Thursday!

The second Tadpole toy repair event will be this Thursday, October 20 at 6 p.m. It will be in the same location as last time -- Teer P07. 
Whether or not you attended the first meeting, we'd love to see you there!  No experience is necessary.  And we will be having these events throughout the semester, so don't worry if you can't make it this time.

BMES Ultimate Frisbee: K-Ville

Come join us for an evening of fun and exercise as we play ultimate frisbee in K-Ville this Thursday, October 6th at 9:00pm.  The frisbee will light up, of course.

GBM Next Thursday

BMES will be holding its final General Body Meeting next Thursday, April 28th at 8pm in 136 Social Science.  As usual, there will be FREE Ben and Jerry's ice cream!  We will be handing out t-shirts and celebrating the successful launch of BMEntors, and the end of a great year of BMES at Duke.

General Body Meeting

BMES will be holding its first General Body Meeting (GBM) this Thursday, March 3, at 8:00 pm in Sociology/Psychology 126.  There will be FREE Ben & Jerry's icecream!  We will be discussing the BMEntors project and distribution of the new FREE t-shirts.  See you there!

BMES T-Shirt Designs

After long, hard work on the part of the designers, the BMES t-shirt designs have been completed! 

Front:

The breast pocket logo for the front of the shirt

Back:

The large image for the back

These will be navy blue American Apparel t-shirts, and we plan to buy about 75 shirts.  Check back soon for when they'll be ready!

BMES Mentors!

BMES is now hosting a mentor program targeted at prospective freshman biomedical engineers.  Wonder which classes to take next year?  Want to talk to a real Pratt Fellow?  Just want to talk to someone?  We'll get you in contact with a compatible mentor for an email chat or a casual lunch at Twinnies.  It's up to you.
